Technician Structural Monitoring | Techniker Bauwerksüberwachung (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves the independent and detailed monitoring and documentation of all civil engineering structures within the city of Neubrandenburg, including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, noise barriers, tunnels, and jetties. The Technician will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, updating damage lists, and ensuring compliance with standards like DIN 1076. Key responsibilities also include acting as the client representative (Bauherr) for these structures, supporting the inspection engineer during main and special examinations, and overseeing the proper restoration of surfaces following utility excavations. Candidates must possess a qualification as a certified technician in Civil Engineering (preferably specializing in underground construction) or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of relevant German construction and traffic laws (DIN 1076, StrWG M-V, StVO), and fluency in German. The position is full-time, permanent, and requires participation in winter service on-call duty.
