Job Summary

This critical leadership role involves managing and coordinating the Information Security team within the Shared Data Center of the German Pension Insurance (DRV), which secures data for approximately 50 million insured individuals. The Team Leader holds both personnel and technical responsibility, overseeing internal and external staff, and driving change processes within the department. Day-to-day tasks include actively shaping the team's security assignments, contributing to strategic goal implementation, and performing specialized IT tasks. A core function is ensuring regulatory compliance by drafting and maintaining security-relevant policies and guidelines, supporting the investigation and assessment of security incidents, and providing detailed monitoring and reporting to management. Candidates must possess a university degree in IT or equivalent qualification, coupled with long-term professional experience in the field and initial team leadership experience. The role requires strong decision-making skills, communication strength, and a focus on process orientation and service quality.
