Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the stable, highly available operation of Oracle Engineered Systems within a data center environment, contributing significantly to the operational security of critical 24/7 IT services. The System Administrator will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and resolving disturbances, ensuring high availability, and managing the deployment, configuration, and continuous optimization of IT systems. A key aspect of the job is actively participating in the development of the system landscape, contributing to technical improvements, and standardizing processes. The ideal candidate possesses comprehensive knowledge in administering Oracle Engineered Systems infrastructure, experience with Oracle Linux, and familiarity with agile and ITILv3 structured environments. This position offers the opportunity to work in a technically demanding setting within the German Pension Insurance's Joint Data Center, coordinating external providers and contributing innovative ideas to operational development in Würzburg.
