Job Summary

This role seeks a motivated Cabin Version Engineer to join projects with Airbus Operations, focusing on In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems. The core responsibilities involve managing the creation and review of IFEC system definition documents, developing electrical schematics, and generating test instructions for manufacturing. A significant component of the job is driving process optimization, digital transformation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Customizing team. The engineer will manage engineering service providers, coordinate components based on customer needs, and participate in international Initial Technical Coordination Meetings (ITCMs) with airlines and suppliers. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with over two years of experience in Change Management and process improvement. Expertise in Electrical Engineering, Cabin Customization (especially A350), project management, and tools like PDMLink and Google Workspace is essential, alongside fluent German and English skills.
