Job Summary

This role seeks a Biological Laboratory Technician to join a pharmaceutical company in Idar-Oberstein, focusing on the production of cellular pharmaceuticals under strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. The core responsibility involves ensuring the safety and efficacy of products by meticulously adhering to all quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing the transfer of new technologies from the Research & Development (R&D) environment into the operational GMP production process, requiring precise documentation for traceability. The technician will also be heavily involved in creating, revising, and maintaining manufacturing documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to continuously improve processes. Essential qualifications include a completed technical education (BTA, MTA, or equivalent) and initial professional experience, specifically with advanced handling of primary cells or cell lines. Experience in a GMP environment is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility, a goal-oriented approach, and proficiency in MS Office, alongside very good German and good English skills.
