Job Summary

This critical role supports Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, focusing on Configuration Management (CM) for Combat Aircraft (A/C), specifically the Eurofighter FJT System SW CM. The Configuration Manager is responsible for the entire change lifecycle, including the management and monitoring of Change Requests and Problem Reports, and preparing and executing Change Control Boards (CCB). Daily activities involve status accounting, generating reports, supporting Project Managers by monitoring development milestones, and performing user administration across various development environments and tools. Key requirements include a degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, coupled with professional experience in Engineering and Project Management. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of CM, Change Management, relational databases, and fluency in both German and English. Experience with specialized tools like Clear Quest, Subversion, and PLM systems is highly desirable for success in this complex defense system environment.
