Job Summary

This role seeks a (Junior) Project Engineer specializing in Control and Safety Technology (LST) to join the DB InfraGO AG team in Munich, focusing on the major 2nd S-Bahn Main Line project. The successful candidate will manage complex rail infrastructure projects from preliminary planning through final acceptance, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines, budget, and quality standards. Daily tasks include drafting feasibility studies, preparing cost estimates and specifications, organizing LST plan and acceptance tests, and conducting active risk management. You will be responsible for ensuring the economic and correct use of funds and managing contracts with project participants. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical or Energy Technology, or equivalent professional experience, coupled with knowledge of German construction and fee regulations (HOAI and VOB). This position offers the chance to contribute to Germany's largest rail fleet modernization efforts within one of the country's biggest engineering firms, providing a permanent contract and long-term career development.
