Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive management and maintenance of the company's IT systems and networks within a research-intensive pharmaceutical environment. The specialist will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN), and end-user hardware (laptops, PCs). Daily tasks include providing 1st and 2nd level support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues remotely and on-site, and managing user accounts and permissions using Windows, Active Directory, and Azure. Key qualifications include a relevant IT education or equivalent, a broad understanding of various operating systems (Windows, Linux, Apple), and expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and virtualization environments (VMware).
