Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Software Developer specializing in JavaScript and TypeScript to join TKMS GmbH, a leading global provider of naval systems, at their Kiel location. The core responsibility involves the implementation of extensive IT projects, requiring strong expertise in both front-end development using JavaScript/TypeScript (specifically Angular) and back-end database interactions utilizing T-SQL. Day-to-day tasks include implementing complex interfaces and modules, alongside crucial technical coordination with various stakeholders, project teams, and internal departments. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent and possesses solid knowledge of Object-Oriented programming, database management, and modern software engineering practices such as Clean Code, Design Patterns, and software testing. Experience with version control (GIT) and agile methodologies is essential. This is a full-time, permanent position offering professional growth within a high-tech defense environment, requiring good proficiency in both German and English.
