Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the security of Ground Support Systems by actively managing vulnerabilities and security risks. Day-to-day tasks include utilizing specialized databases and tools to track Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), generating regular security reports, and assessing security gaps within the system. A core responsibility is developing and implementing remediation plans to address identified weaknesses. The specialist will also automate system security verification and testing processes, and provide crucial support during system health checks and penetration tests. Key qualifications include a completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, coupled with professional experience in Cyber Security, IT/Information Systems, and system administration of Windows and Linux environments, including virtualization technologies like Microsoft Hyper-V. The ideal candidate must possess negotiation-level fluency in both German and English, and demonstrate the ability to work independently and cooperatively within an international team.
