Job Summary

This role involves serving as an Integration and Test Specialist focused on high-end optoelectronic systems, specifically prototype viewing systems for land, water, and underwater applications. Day-to-day tasks include the commissioning and integration of Hensoldt prototypes, comprehensive test planning, specification, development, and execution, and detailed analysis and documentation of results. A core technical focus is on conceiving, developing, and maintaining software solutions, managing automated build servers and CI/CD pipelines, and administering secure Linux systems, often utilizing container technologies like Docker. The specialist will engage in rigorous fault management, coordinating fixes with development teams and customers, and enhancing existing testing infrastructure (HiL/SiL). This position requires a background in Computer Science or a related field and strong technical skills in software development, integration testing, and Linux administration, offering an opportunity to contribute to complex defense and security systems.
