Job Summary

This role is for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join the HENSOLDT Optronics team in Oberkochen, focusing on high-end radar and optoelectronic systems. The primary responsibilities include the conception, development, and maintenance of specialized software solutions, alongside the crucial task of developing, maintaining, and optimizing automated build servers and CI/CD pipelines. A significant part of the job involves the administration, configuration, and security hardening of Linux systems, as well as managing container technologies like Docker and Podman. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, coupled with professional experience in CI/CD systems (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins), Linux administration, networking concepts, and security practices. The ideal candidate must be highly autonomous, team-oriented, and possess fluent German and English skills to collaborate effectively with developers and ensure robust deployment processes.
