Job Summary
This role seeks a dedicated Renewable Energy Engineer to join the Pioneer City Salzburg project team, playing a crucial part in developing and implementing the city's ambitious Climate Neutrality Master Plan by 2040. Day-to-day responsibilities involve defining reduction pathways, evaluating building energy efficiency (building envelopes), and coordinating concepts for e-charging infrastructure and energy supply for municipal buildings. The engineer will also be responsible for structuring complex energy themes, such as climate-neutral neighborhood development, and assisting with the balancing of energy flows and greenhouse gas emissions. Candidates must possess a minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Energy Economics, coupled with flexible, creative, and solution-oriented thinking. The ability to translate complex technical content into structured strategies for political, administrative, and public audiences is essential. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree (minimum), preferably in Energy Economics, or High School Diploma combined with relevant professional experience.
