Job Summary

This role involves organizing and executing critical geotechnical acceptance tests on various construction sites, primarily utilizing dynamic plate load, static load plate, and densitometer equipment. Key daily responsibilities include collecting samples for both geotechnical and waste technology laboratory analyses, performing specialized field tests like pumping and infiltration assessments, and monitoring groundwater levels via data loggers. The specialist will also be responsible for surveying and documenting points of interest, participating in track inspections, drafting necessary field sketches, and compiling short technical reports evaluating test results. Candidates must possess completed vocational training as a state-certified Geotechnical Technician, Materials Tester, or equivalent, coupled with over two years of relevant professional experience. Strong German language skills, excellent MS Office proficiency, and a Class B driving license are mandatory for this permanent position within DB Engineering & Consulting.
