Job Summary

This position as an Embedded Software Engineer at TKMS ATLAS ELEKTRONIK in Bremen offers the opportunity to significantly shape electro-technical product and component development within a leading maritime high-technology company. Day-to-day tasks involve acting as a steering authority within the development team, analyzing, evaluating, and prioritizing requirements for embedded software and its hardware interfaces in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for maintaining and continuously developing the Product Backlog using agile methodologies, such as SCRUM. A critical component of the role is the coordination of the development team to implement prioritized software functions while monitoring Quality, Cost, and Schedule (QKT) targets. You will also support the selection and specification of electronic components and participate actively in all agile ceremonies, including Reviews, Sprint Plannings, and Retrospectives. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Communications Technology, coupled with several years of professional experience, strong knowledge of Embedded C programming, and expertise in software architecture and agile methods.
