Job Summary

This role requires a dedicated DOORS Database Specialist to manage and enhance the Requirements Qualification Matrix (RQM) DOORS database for the Eurofighter Flight Control Station (EF FCS) at the renowned client, Airbus Defence and Space, located in Manching. Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for the RQM DOORS database, improving RQM processes to ensure robust requirement capture, traceability, and qualification, and providing support to the Flight Joint Team (FJT). A critical aspect of the job involves the development and maintenance of the RQM tool, which includes handling Change Requests (CRs), updating tool requirements, and implementing changes using dxl scripting. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining essential documentation, such as the Assessment and Test Configuration Index Documents (CID) and RQM coverage reports for FJT releases. The ideal candidate must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and possess strong expertise in requirements management, system development processes, and configuration control, along with fluent proficiency in both German and English.
