Job Summary

This role is centered on cost estimation and tender preparation within the Switchgear Construction division of a major, established electrical engineering firm. The Estimator is responsible for thoroughly reviewing and assessing tender documents from both private and public clients. Key daily tasks include calculating offers based on service specifications (LVs) and lump-sum descriptions, utilizing parts lists and technical plans for accurate cost determination, and preparing necessary supplements and addenda. A crucial part of the job involves close collaboration with procurement and project management to identify technically equivalent alternatives during the bidding phase, ensuring cost efficiency and technical viability. Candidates must have successfully completed electro-technical training and possess proven experience in various calculation methods.
