This role is for an Electrical Engineer based in Cottbus, focusing on critical infrastructure challenges within electrical grids. Key daily tasks include conducting EEG connection assessments for generation systems, verifying protection settings, and utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for plan drawing and documentation. A significant part of the job involves economic analysis, such as determining the most cost-effective grid connection points and calculating necessary network expansion and transmission capacities within substations and medium-voltage networks.
