Job Summary

This role is for a Team Lead Data Engineering specialist focusing on Data Integration and Data Warehouse solutions at a leading European online retailer for premium accessories. The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of corporate data, acting as the source for critical business decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading a team in the technical requirements analysis, design, and implementation of ETL and Real-Time Analytics processes, ensuring optimal quality and reliability. You will actively work with a Modern Data Stack, primarily utilizing Snowflake and dbt, modeling data from various touchpoints (Shop, ERP, Marketing) and using Reverse-ETL to transfer insights back to business applications. The position requires expertise in Python and SQL, working in agile sprints to manage the performant processing and storage of large data volumes in both Data Lakes and Data Warehouse systems. The role is based in Potsdam, offering a modern work environment with flat hierarchies and a strong team spirit.
