Job Summary

This role involves supporting and managing the IT infrastructure for the Rural Area Service Center (DLR Rheinpfalz) in Neustadt an der Weinstraße. The core responsibilities include setting up and maintaining all end-user IT equipment, such as PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices. Daily tasks encompass hardware installation, software deployment (operating systems, Office, email, etc.), and comprehensive troubleshooting and error resolution. Additionally, the specialist will provide technical support for events and handle administrative duties like IT inventory management, managing IT consumables, and consulting specialized departments on IT matters. The ideal candidate has a completed qualification as an IT Specialist or equivalent experience, demonstrating independent, results-oriented work habits, high flexibility, and strong teamwork skills.
