Job Summary
This permanent, full-time Radiochemist position at the University Hospital Bonn's Department of Nuclear Medicine offers a unique opportunity to contribute to advanced clinical and research applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine manufacturing of radiopharmaceuticals, handling open radionuclides, and driving the implementation of new radioactive drugs according to stringent GMP standards. A core duty involves supporting the establishment and development of a new large GMP-compliant radiochemistry laboratory, expected to be completed in 2025. Key requirements include a PhD in Chemistry or Pharmacy, professional experience in radiopharmaceutical production, and expertise in radiochemical analytics (HPLC, TLC). The role demands interdisciplinary collaboration and the willingness to take on the responsibilities of a Radiation Protection Officer, offering significant creative freedom and involvement in state-of-the-art therapies like radiopeptide and SIRT treatments.

Experience
- Professional experience in the manufacturing of radiopharmaceuticals in clinical, research, and/or industrial settings
- Experience operating within a GMP environment (ideal)
- Willingness to acquire expertise in radiation protection (S 4.1)
