Job Summary

This role is for a Development Engineer specializing in high-voltage Battery Technology, focusing on Lithium-Ion batteries and associated Battery Management Systems (BMS) for sectors like automotive and rail vehicle technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in the development process, executing detailed fault analysis, troubleshooting, and tracking issues. A key component of the role involves coordinating validation activities and implementing error correction measures, requiring strong communication skills for interaction with OEMs, development partners, and suppliers. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and bring initial professional experience in battery technology or energy storage systems. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standards and experience in testing battery systems (EMC, thermal stability).
