Job Summary

This essential role involves working as an expert for electrical engineering with a focus on building law, ensuring that complex structures and facilities adhere to the highest safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include the comprehensive testing and evaluation of electrical systems, safety power supplies, and fire/hazard detection systems within industrial, commercial, and special buildings, strictly adhering to regulatory frameworks like state building codes (Landesbauordnungen), MLAR, and DIN VDE. You will be responsible for creating detailed inspection reports, documenting deviations, and coordinating the timely remediation of defects. Furthermore, you will provide expert technical guidance to construction projects and consult clients on safety-relevant and normative issues. This position requires conducting frequent on-site inspections and collaborating with interdisciplinary building technology teams, offering the chance to shape the future of building safety within the globally recognized TÜV SÜD organization.

Education

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning, testing, or evaluating electrical systems (desirable)
  • Recognition as a certified testing expert (advantageous)
