Job Summary

This role seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to drive cutting-edge translational cancer research within a prestigious scientific group at Charité. The position involves applying advanced technologies, including single cell-omics (spatial transcriptomics), proteomics, genomics, and innovative genetic tools like CRISPR/Cas, to investigate tumor pathogenesis, mechanisms of tumorigenesis, and biomarker-informed therapeutic intervention. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning, execution, and evaluation of complex research projects, preparing high-impact scientific publications, and presenting results at international congresses. The ideal candidate holds a PhD in natural sciences with a strong background in experimental or bioinformatics methods, coupled with a robust publication record and proficiency in statistical analysis. Required Skills

Education

Completed Master's degree (M.Sc.) in natural sciences or comparable, and a PhD (Experimental or Bioinformatics)

Experience

  • Experimental or bioinformatics PhD and previous experience in translational cancer research
  • Strong publication record from PhD or postdoc
  • Professional experience in confident handling of statistical analyses and evaluation programs
  • Professional experience in data analysis and presentation
