Job Summary
This PhD position at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin offers a highly motivated scientist the opportunity to conduct translational myeloma research within a young, interdisciplinary team. The role focuses on identifying biomarkers for early prevention and prediction of myeloma progression, and developing targeted therapeutic strategies. The successful candidate will perform genome-wide cancer screens in mouse models, characterize tumors using bulk and single-cell analyses, validate candidate genes, and conduct mechanistic studies. The project leverages novel single-cell sequencing technology and state-of-the-art methods, providing a unique environment for scientific growth and contributing to significant advancements in cancer research.
Required Skills
Education
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in biology, biochemistry, molecular medicine, computational biology, pharmacy, bioengineering, or a related field
Experience
- Prior experience with preclinical models (desirable)
- Prior experience with bioinformatic analyses (desirable)
