Job Summary

This permanent position seeks a skilled Materials Testing Technician specializing in Metal Technology to join a client in Aalen. The primary responsibilities involve the independent execution of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures, ensuring strict adherence to applicable standards and norms. Day-to-day duties include performing various specialized tests such as Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Visual Testing (VT), and Eddy Current Testing (ET). Following testing, the technician is responsible for the meticulous evaluation and assessment of results, along with the careful documentation of all test steps. A key component of the role is supporting the creation of detailed testing instructions and collaborating closely with the Quality Assurance team and other technical departments. Candidates must possess a completed NDT Tester qualification (Level 1 or 2) according to DIN EN ISO 9712 in one or more of the specified methods, and must be prepared for shift work and potential assembly activities.
