Job Summary

This role involves working as a Materials Tester specializing in metal technology in Essingen, Germany, focusing on ensuring quality and compliance through non-destructive testing (NDT). The successful candidate will be responsible for independently executing NDT procedures according to current standards, including methods like Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Visual Testing (VT), and Eddy Current Testing (ET). Key responsibilities also include evaluating and assessing test results, meticulously documenting all testing steps, and assisting in the creation of testing instructions. This position requires close collaboration with the Quality Assurance team and other specialist departments. Ideal candidates should hold a Level 1 or 2 NDT certification (DIN EN ISO 9712) in one or more specified methods and be prepared for shift work and occasional assembly/installation activities.
