Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position with a leading aerospace employer in Meinerzhagen focuses on critical materials testing and microstructure analysis. The core responsibilities involve the preparation and mounting of metallographic sections, followed by qualitative macroscopic and microscopic examination of metallic materials. You will be responsible for meticulously assessing the form, size, and distribution of lattice structures, lattice defects, and phase boundaries within components. A crucial daily task is conducting damage and fault diagnosis on parts exhibiting metallographic anomalies and deviations. Candidates must possess completed training as a Materials Tester or Metallographer, combined with a strong technical understanding and proficiency in basic EDV tools (MS Office). This role requires a high degree of precision, diligence, and commitment, offering a competitive starting salary of €20.26 per hour plus significant shift and overtime bonuses.
