Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Systems Technician to join the IT infrastructure support team at the University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD), focusing primarily on maintaining the clinic's extensive print and copy infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing and resolving hardware and software problems related to printing devices, developing solutions using an ITIL-standard ticket system, and performing installation, maintenance, and repair of various print and copy systems. The technician will also manage print management tools, organize spare parts procurement, and create technical documentation and user manuals. The ideal candidate must possess completed vocational training as a Systems Electronics Technician or equivalent qualification with a focus on print management, coupled with strong technical knowledge in IT hardware and software. Excellent customer orientation, a reliable working style, and good written and spoken German skills are essential.
