Job Summary

This role focuses on the development and optimization of PLC software modules specifically designed for controlling fully automated intralogistics systems. The developer will be responsible for the entire software lifecycle, including conducting detailed requirements analysis, contributing to solution concepts, and creating rigorous software testing specifications compliant with standards like EN 13849. A key part of the job is executing necessary acceptance and functional tests, documenting the implemented software standards, and providing expert support to implementation departments facing complex intralogistics challenges. Candidates must possess a degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field and at least three years of professional experience in control software creation, ideally within machine or plant construction. Excellent knowledge of PLC programming, preferably Siemens S7-TIA, and familiarity with drive technology and relevant industrial norms are essential for success in this innovative, fixed-term position contributing to global supply chain efficiency.
