Job Summary

This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing all IT activities within the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA), driving institutional digitalization through innovative concepts. The manager will be responsible for developing future-oriented IT strategies, restructuring IT processes, and ensuring compliance with public administration regulations, such as E-Government and the Online Access Act. Key responsibilities include applying process and project management methodologies, conducting market research, performing cost-benefit analyses, and supporting the procurement and implementation of new software solutions. Candidates must possess a university degree in a relevant field, such as Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification for non-technical administrative service. Ideal candidates will demonstrate practical experience in project collaboration and possess knowledge of public administration practices.
