Job Summary

This role involves supporting materials science research, focusing primarily on thermal analysis and alloy production at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. The successful candidate will independently conduct and evaluate thermal analysis measurements, including regular calibration and maintenance of DTA/DSC devices. Key responsibilities also include the manufacturing and heat treatment of alloys on a laboratory scale, maintaining furnaces, and establishing new experimental methodologies. You will be responsible for operating and organizing the laboratory area, documenting experimental data, and supporting student projects and ongoing research.
