IT Specialist / Computer Scientist (Kubernetes Platform) | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves driving the strategic direction and implementation of the Kubernetes environment within the E.ON Group's shared process network platform (OT, IoT). The specialist will be responsible for designing and deploying system infrastructures with a strong focus on high availability and robust security, while staying current with industry trends and collaborating across various departments. Key responsibilities include advancing the use of containerization, ensuring cybersecurity compliance through audits, and representing Westnetz interests in high-level committees. The ideal candidate holds a degree in IT or a comparable field, possesses professional experience operating an on-prem Kubernetes platform, and is highly proficient with technologies such as Openshift/OKD, Rancher, RKE2, Service Mesh, CI/CD Pipeline, ArgoCD, and Harbor.
