Job Summary

This role, based in Essen, seeks an engaged Electrical Engineer to join the System Analysis and Tools team, focusing on ensuring system stability within the distribution network, particularly concerning the integration of grid-forming inverters and renewable energy sources. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating quantitative, model-based analyses to evaluate system stability under various future scenarios, developing strategic foundations for distribution network operations, and actively representing the company in relevant industry bodies and technical working groups (VDE FNN). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in power grids, system stability, and inverter-based systems, coupled with strong experience in dynamic network calculation and simulation.
