Job Summary

This position as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist focuses on safeguarding the bank's adherence to critical financial regulations, including WpHG, IDD, and BaFin guidelines, specifically within the retail product segments (securities, insurance, investment, and credit). Day-to-day responsibilities involve planning and executing monitoring measures, providing expert consultation to specialized departments, and developing and delivering compliance training for staff. A major component of the role is translating complex future regulatory mandates, such as the Retail Investment Strategy, into actionable operational processes and drafting necessary business instructions. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Law or Economics, or substantial professional experience in banking or insurance brokerage. Essential requirements include deep knowledge of IDD and BaFin regulations, proven experience in operational control activities, and proficiency in managing internal and external audits.
