Job Summary

This role, based in Schöningen, involves ensuring the reliable operation and strategic expansion of power and gas distribution networks for Avacon Netz GmbH. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing grid calculations, preparing grid compatibility tests, conducting network analysis and load measurements, and developing technical solutions necessary for network expansion. A crucial part of the job is managing asset data maintenance within IT systems, planning maintenance schedules for distribution network assets, and participating in fault analysis and statistics. Furthermore, the technician handles operational sales, including creating quotes and negotiating contracts with external customers regarding network services. The ideal candidate holds a completed qualification as a Master Craftsman or Technician in Electrical or Supply Engineering and is either experienced in power/gas grid operations or highly motivated to learn these diverse topics. Strong initiative, teamwork, and fluency in German are essential for success in this critical role supporting the future of energy supply.
