Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Electrical Engineer specializing in Grid Control Systems, joining MITNETZ STROM, a major regional distribution network operator focused on securing the energy future in Eastern Germany. The primary focus is the continuous development and maintenance of the network control system and the network and system security management, ensuring infrastructure stability and compliance with legal requirements (EEG, EnWG, NABEG 2.0). Day-to-day responsibilities include managing central control technology across various data concentrator sites, performing detailed data maintenance (including image/data upkeep and bit tests), and advancing the balancing group management system to enhance network efficiency and transparency. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field. Ideally, they bring professional experience in network calculation, network control technology, or modeling, and are familiar with network calculation software like PowerFactory.
