Job Summary

This crucial engineering role supports the energy transition by focusing on the expansion and transformation of the regional gas network. The specialist will be responsible for developing and evaluating technical foundations, materials, and technologies for gas networks across all pressure levels, including assessing their suitability for hydrogen and alternative gases. A core function involves technical fundamental work, overseeing quality management, and ensuring quality assurance for gas components and installation services by conducting material controls and defect assessments. The specialist will also create, coordinate, and professionally approve technical regulations internally and in alignment with the E.ON Group. Candidates must hold a completed university degree in Energy, Gas, Environmental Engineering, or Supply Technology, coupled with practical experience in material evaluation and quality assurance within the gas network environment.
