Job Summary

This role is for an Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Engineer focusing on defense and naval technology, specifically concerning maintenance and spares management for submarines and ships. The engineer will be responsible for optimizing spare parts quantities through customer coordination and conferences, managing action items from logistical supply agreements, and conducting technical reviews of supplier data according to customer specifications. Key daily tasks involve determining and optimizing spare parts requirements based on usage profiles and reliability data, assessing and defining material maintenance measures (e.g., for servicing and repair), and independently executing Material Maintenance Planning according to ASD S3000L. The ideal candidate possesses an engineering degree or technician qualification with relevant professional experience in ILS, strong knowledge of ASD standards (S3000L, S4000P, S1000D, S5000F), and is proficient in English, ideally at a negotiation level. This is a crucial role ensuring the long-term operational readiness of complex defense systems.
