Job Summary

This role is ideal for a passionate electrical engineer eager to contribute to innovative aerospace and aviation product development. As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing the electrical infrastructure for complex systems. Day-to-day tasks involve creating essential construction documents, including circuit diagrams and specifications, and significantly determining the electrical design of the hardware to meet requirements. You will participate in and potentially lead design reviews, support electrical testing, troubleshooting during hardware trials, and guide products through qualification and acceptance. The position requires expertise in electrical engineering, particularly with DC-DC or AC power supplies, familiarity with tools like Altium Designer and SVN, and ideally, knowledge of aviation standards (e.g., DO-160). Fluency in both German and English is mandatory, offering a challenging and impactful career in a dynamic engineering environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Communications Engineering, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • First fundamental professional experience (preferred)
  • Experience in the design and troubleshooting of DC-DC or AC power supplies
  • Knowledge of common aviation standards (e.g., DO-160 or MIL-STD) (ideal)
