Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Linux System Engineer based in Munich-West, focusing on administering the server infrastructure for a growing healthcare provider specializing in outpatient and preventive medical services. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new modules, optimizing server systems, analyzing and resolving system errors, and participating in diverse IT projects, including the migration and consolidation of existing Linux operating systems. Key responsibilities also include ensuring the smooth operation of specialized medical applications, performing administration, configuration, monitoring, and executing necessary upgrades, updates, and security patches. Candidates must possess professional experience in Linux administration, strong scripting skills (BASH, PHP, Perl, Python, or awk are beneficial), and familiarity with automation solutions like SUSE Manager (SaltStack, Ansible).
