Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and configuration of redundant network environments for a nationwide service provider based in Munich. The Network Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration and operation of Cisco Routing and Switching systems, processing incoming incident reports, and actively participating in various network projects. Key duties also include configuring and maintaining network management, monitoring, documentation, and troubleshooting using a ticketing system, as well as managing copper and fiber-based access technology. Candidates should possess a completed IT qualification, practical experience with Cisco and TCP/IP, and ideally, CCNA certification. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the IT environment (e.g., IT Specialist System Integration, IT System Electronics Technician, IT Service Technician) or equivalent qualification. Ideally, CCNA certification.

Experience

  • Experience in the network field, specifically with Cisco and TCP/IP
  • Professional experience or similar qualification in the IT environment
  • Willingness to work in a team-internal shift model (Monday to Saturday coverage)
