Job Summary

This role involves joining the Federal Highway Company (Autobahn GmbH) as a Civil Engineer specializing in Road Construction, starting September 1, 2025. The core responsibilities include managing and supporting new construction, expansion, and maintenance projects within road infrastructure. Key day-to-day tasks involve preparing and awarding construction contracts (HOAI phases 6 and 7), such as drafting service specifications and reviewing tender documents, as well as overseeing the structural implementation and monitoring of road construction measures (HOAI phases 8 and 9). This includes ensuring compliance with planning specifications, contractual agreements, technical standards, and traffic safety regulations. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Road Construction or Construction Management, coupled with professional experience in road administration, project management, and public procurement procedures.
