Job Summary

This critical role involves leading and executing the planning and acceptance testing for electrical systems, specifically focusing on overhead line installations within railway infrastructure projects. The Certified Expert Inspector will be responsible for the technical and organizational leadership of the inspection team, ensuring all installations comply with applicable legal and technical regulations, including adherence to the EBO (Railway Construction and Operating Regulations). Key daily tasks include reviewing system compatibility, assessing the use of approved components, and guaranteeing planning quality throughout the construction phase. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and hold specific certification from the Federal Railway Authority (Eisenbahn-Bundesamt). This position requires a high degree of autonomy, strong communication skills, and the flexibility to work occasionally during non-standard hours (weekends, holidays, nights) on construction sites, while also mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous quality assurance processes.
