Job Summary

This role involves serving as an Expert Reviewer for critical railway infrastructure projects, specializing in Signaling, Control, and Safety Technology (LST). Day-to-day responsibilities include meticulously reviewing LST plans, technical systems, and components (both hardware and software) to ensure strict adherence to all underlying legal and technical regulations. The expert will generate comprehensive test reports and expert opinions, verify the usability of approved parts, and actively ensure planning quality throughout the construction phase. A key aspect of the role is continuous professional development, covering technologies ranging from legacy systems (like SpDr S 60) to modern standards such as ESTW, DSTW, and ETCS. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and must possess official recognition from the Federal Railway Authority (EBA) as an LST Plan Examiner, demonstrating a structured, responsible, and communicative approach to work, often involving mentorship and knowledge transfer to planning and project engineers.
