Job Summary

This Cloud DevOps Engineer role is pivotal in shaping the future cloud infrastructure (Azure) for the company. The professional will be responsible for designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like GitHub and methodologies such as GitOps, to streamline software delivery and reduce deployment times. A core focus includes monitoring and managing the high availability and performance of the Azure infrastructure using tools like Datadog, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana. The role requires utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Crossplane, Terraform, and OpenTofu for implementing reusable components. Furthermore, the engineer will develop and implement security best practices, optimize cloud infrastructure costs using Azure Cost Management, and support the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, coupled with several years of experience in cloud deployment.
