Job Summary

This role is for a Clinical Engineer specializing in Experimental Audiology at a University Hospital, offering a secure, full-time, and permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical adaptation and maintenance of Cochlear implants and active middle ear implants for both adult and pediatric patients, ensuring high-quality technical support for individuals with hearing implants. A significant portion of the work involves supporting academic activities, including supervising and conducting experiments for medical physics lectures and practicals. You will also assist the department with the development and setup of new research and teaching experiments, and contribute to scientific endeavors by supporting data collection and evaluation for studies. Essential qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, or a comparable field, alongside strong teamwork skills, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with patients and test subjects. Experience with auditory implants and hearing-impaired patients is highly desirable for this diverse role.
