Job Summary

This position is for an expert Platform Engineer focused on automation and optimizing IT processes within one of Germany's largest IT service providers. You will play a crucial role in building and scaling the Application Delivery Platform, automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, and continuously developing the underlying Cloud Platform. Daily activities involve leveraging key technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, Terraform, and GitOps workflows (GitLab CI/ArgoCD) to ensure efficient and robust operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about seeing routine tasks automated through intelligent scripts, possesses high quality standards for documentation, and is comfortable working in an agile, team-oriented environment. This role offers a modern workplace, flexible trust-based working hours, 30 days of annual leave, and the unique flexibility to work remotely from other EU countries for up to three months per year.
