Job Summary

This role as an Electrical Grid Strategy Engineer places you at the forefront of Germany's energy transition, working for MITNETZ STROM, a major regional distribution network operator. You will be instrumental in ensuring a secure future power supply by actively shaping the preservation and future design of the company's electrical grids. Day-to-day responsibilities include rigorous analysis of the grid's condition development to derive crucial adjustments for maintenance and renewal strategies (Asset Strategy). A key aspect involves participating in complex studies, development, and innovation projects at both national and European levels, while continuously improving existing processes and tools. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related field, possesses initial experience in power distribution network planning or operation, and understands the potential of Digital Twin technology. This position offers the chance to work on technically sophisticated matters with high autonomy, contributing directly to sustainable energy infrastructure.
