Job Summary

This crucial role as a Customer Solution Manager focuses on driving the strategic and technological evolution of Analytics and Artificial Intelligence services for the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing high-impact services, including overseeing the introduction and operation of Machine Learning models and their associated pipelines in a productive environment. Day-to-day tasks involve acting as a Product Owner for agile development teams, coordinating user support from requirement gathering to productive use, and ensuring the quality and operational readiness of the Analytics and Simulation platforms. Candidates should possess a relevant university degree or comparable training, approximately four years of professional experience in IT Service or Project Management, preferably within the Data Analytics or AI domain, and certified knowledge of ITIL. This position offers the opportunity to modernize one of Germany's largest IT infrastructures while contributing directly to national security through cutting-edge digital transformation projects involving Data Science, Big Data, and Generative AI.

Required Skills

Education

University degree related to Artificial Intelligence or comparable training, ITIL certification.

Experience

  • Approximately 4 years in IT Service Management and/or Project Management
  • Professional experience in the Data Analytics or AI environment (ideal)
  • Experience managing external service providers
  • Responsibility for the introduction and operation of Machine Learning models for productive use
  • Experience utilizing agile working methods
